- Ela vai atacar! – gritou Minos, apressado no salto e proteção da amurada. Uivo ou trompa foi o som da Chimerae, nota rouca e furiosa que antecedeu o caos. O peito aberto cuspiu bola de fogo revolto, assobiada em longo arco, luz incandescente que iluminou a noite e todos os Kratoi que por baixo arremetiam. O impacto, porém, foi a meia distância, em pleno ar, explosão que escorreu lava sobre feras, confundindo-lhes o assalto. Marcus ainda mantinha o bastão erguido, com ambas as mãos, vibrado em grave nota musical, como sino de latão ao fim de badalo. O Feitiço de Força tinha funcionado, interrompido o projétil no trajeto, bem antes da muralha, onde um Escudo Místico seria única salvação. Fierela sorriu-lhe, satisfeita com o bom exemplo. - Arcanos, façam como Marcus! Travem o tiro das Chimerae antes de chegar à muralha! – gritou a Lectores e alunos. |
"It's going to attack!" Minos shouted, hurrying down the merlon, to bulwark's cover. A howl, or horn call, was the Chimerae's sound, a hoarse and furious tune to coming chaos. Its gaping chest spit forth the rumbling fire, whistled in wide arc, a glimmering light that filled the night and all Kratoi that charged below it. The impact, however, came half-way, in empty air, and the explosion poured lava over beasts, messing and foiling their rush. Marcus still held the staff high, in both hands, while a lasting and grave musical note still hummed, like shake upon a brass bell tolled. The Force Spell had worked, stopped the fireball in its path, way before the wall, where only a Mystical Shield could have saved them. So Fierela smiled and nodded, for she was pleased with this choice. "Arcanes, Marcus is right! Stop the Chimeraes' fire before it reaches the wall!" She shouted to Lectors and students. |
